2010 naish charger 9m

I've had a 9m 2010 charger for a couple months now. I purchased the kite thinking I'd be getting a less agrassive kite compared to my older c-kites. Plus I read about how stable this kite is supposed to be, and so far it seems to be the most unstable and unpredictabe kite I own! I've been kiteboarding a year now and I know I still got a lot of learning to do. The wind was gusty and I just couldn't keep the kite where I wanted it! If anybody can tell me what I'm doing wrong, or at least tell me they feel the same about the kite it would be nice to know.
