By far, the most popular discipline in kiteboarding is freeriding. Since freeriding encompases the widest range of use, it's no surprise that the Crossbow is regarded as the world's leading freeride kite. The Crossbow's bow outline and high performance profiles work in concert to provide the largest wind range in our kite offering. The Crossbow's open arc delivers the highest power to size ratio of any kite in our range. This power comes in handy when looking for high hang times or when flying across a wide stretch of water. When you combine these characteristics with easy handling, excellent relaunch, and quality finish details, the 2011 Crossbow completes its dominance in the role of the ultimate performance freeride kite.

Pretty gruntty kite

Pretty cool kite, i've been using it for the last month or so, i was pretty impressed with the power for a 11m, definitely feels like a 12m compared to the 11m switchblade this kite has lots more grunt...

Very smooth, and predictable kite, definitely not suited for freestyle and wake style... hard to pop as it flies too far up on the edge of the window... Awesome upwind machine. Jumping is good but takes a while to get used to it specially if you were used to the switchblade [like me] the timing has to be perfect for this and you have to be more aggressive with the kite... but once you figure that out... you will be flying not jumping... hang time it's amazing...

The built is awesome, new lines and bar, the purple and blue colour is pretty cool you will definitely be noticed in the middle of all the other kites...

it's not a fast turning kite for its size, but if you don't need a fast turning kite, go for it you won't regret...

Low end and top end power are quite impressive, i've been out having fun on 16kts to 25kts no problems... slightly over powered on 25kts tho... i'm 92kg on a 134 NHP nobile board...

Definitely worth checking it out, but get a demo first if you can, as it might not be a kite for you... it's totally different than the switchblade...
