A new line of hybrid Delta kites that evolves from the rest. Specifically designed with lightweight features in mind, these kites are juts a pure surprise. Stable, powerful, very easy to relaunch and very easy to de-power. Will make anyone feel like they have always been able to kite. Completely re-designed in all parts, the new passions bring life to a solid pure blooded spirit type of power, with a tremendous stability of profile.

2012 RRD Passion

We use the Passion in the school and have been really impressed by its ease of use, stablility, smooth turning and it's amazing in light winds. The 11m is an excellent all around kite size for average/heavier riders while the 9m is perfect for lighter riders. It is also very good for jumping due to its relatively high aspect ratio and has huge float. It is always the first choice kite of the instructors and also loved by the students.

Powerful for its size due to its efficient profile and open shape, amazing when underpowered as it keep generating more and more power through apparent once you are on the plan. Good turning speed so can be worked to create more power and can be sent back fast for some brilliant jumps with HUGE float! Drifts well on the waves as well. This kite does everything unless you are into your mega loops, you need a more C shaped kite for them.

Great kite with LOADS of power.
Gets going nicely in around 17-18 knts on a 128 board and I can hold on till about 32-33 knts. (I weigh 60 Kg)
Sometimes a bit tempermental but overall a great kite:)
