Ocean Rodeo in Maui
I am a Maui senior who is determined to learn how to kitesurf here in these challenging wind and sea conditions. Before I purchased kites, I read the reviews and was impressed with the universal support for the quality of the construction of the OR kites.
Everyone has an opinion as to the superior manufacturer is and I suppose it would be hard to buy a modern bad kite. I have found the OR gear to be easy to depower and as a beginner I am finding having a bit more rather than less power makes my upwind attempts easier. I have never had the OR Rise kites hindenberg on me and I have managed to fly them into the trees a couple of times without damage. Not sure what more I could ask of a kite manufacturer.
You would likely not go wrong by using the RISE kites. Be safe, greg
