The 2012 Team Series continues to reign supreme in the realm of progressive, powered new-school freestyle. A proven blend of power, speed, upwind ability and pop, it’s no secret why the Team Series is the number one choice of NKB World Cup freestyle competition riders. The Team Series now utilizes the same acclaimed high-end Textreme Carbon Technology of the North Select, but with a stiffer flex pattern and wider outline to deliver uncompromised and ultra-responsive power and pop for throwing mad tricks and sticking powered landings even in choppy water conditions.

North Team

I just traded my much loved Cardboard Tempo against a new team board, this board is a slick looking piece of kit and performs just as good as it looks. The board has more flex than my Tempo had but when you load the tail it pops just as well and it glides through the chop a lot better. The weight of the board is super light due to it's carbon construction although it makes it a pretty expensive board it also makes it a pleasure to ride and throw around.

The new north entity straps are the goods, I hated the old north straps and have been looking for decent straps for three years now trying both LF comps, Cab Syncs which came up short. The only thing I can say as a negative is that my Tempo tracked better with it's quad concave bottom, as the team board runs a single concave it tends to be a little more skatey.
